The auditions are open to singers of all voice types with experience in ensemble singing.

The application deadline for auditions in September 2026 is Saturday, 15 August 2026. From 22 August 2026 onwards, we will contact you personally to let you know whether you have been invited to the live audition days in Namur (Belgium), 14-16 September 2026.
Please note that places for the September 2026 auditions are limited. If you are not selected, your application will automatically be considered for the June 2027 auditions. In case you are not free in September 2026, the application deadline for the June 2027 auditions is Friday, 30 April 2027.

Repertoire
The audition will consist of two parts: solo and ensemble, each lasting approximately 15 minutes. Accompaniment on harpsichord/organ will be provided.

Solo (15 min.)
Prepare two Baroque arias or songs of your choice.
– In different languages and if possible different styles
– at least one piece must be in German.
– at least one piece must be sacred.
The most important thing is that these are pieces you genuinely enjoy singing and that show you at your best. Please do not feel obliged to choose something overly difficult.

Ensemble (15 min.)

Johann Christoph Bach – Der Mensch von Weibe geboren
Claudio Monteverdi – Adoramus te Christe, SV 289
