When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Since its foundation in 2004, the vocal ensemble Vox Luminis–led by bass Lionel Meunier –has been internationally praised for its unique sound, both with a cast of soloists and in larger productions. Vox Luminis specialises in English, Italian and German repertoire from the 17th and early 18th centuries, bringing to life not only well-known masterpieces, but also rare gems. A core of vocal soloists is supplemented, depending on the repertoire, with an extensive continuo, solo instruments or a complete orchestra.

  1. The personal information you provide when registering is processed by Vox Luminis registration is processed by Vox Luminis for the following purposes and legal bases:
  • inform you about concert schedules, programming, CD releases and all activities related to the operation of the ensemble
  • to publish information in accordance with your personal privacy settings
  • to send our newsletter (via Mailchimp), invitations and/or other information about products and services

  • map your interests so that we can provide you with personalised recommendations.

  1. When do we process or use what personal data?
  1. When using the website, we mainly collect functional information.

  1. Personal information obtained by automated means: certain information is collected automatically each time you use Vox Luminis’ online channels.
  1. We will retain personal information in your personal profile for as long as you remain registered with Vox Luminis. This allows us to provide our services to you in the best possible way.
  1. When you cancel your registration, your actions will be disconnected from your personal information and kept anonymous for an unlimited period.
  1. We use the data collected only for the purpose for which it was obtained.
  1.  When do we disclose your personal data to third parties?
  1. We may provide the data you give to Vox Luminis to third parties if this is necessary for the purposes described above.

For example, we use a third party to :

  • taking care of the internet environment (web hosting)
  • Taking care of the IT infrastructure (e.g. the computer network)
  • Handle and distribute newsletters and invitations
  1. We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement.
  1. In the course of extending our services, we collaborate with subcontractors (e.g. hosting providers for the website). These companies are located in the European Economic Area and are contractually bound to strictly adhere to the Vox Luminis privacy policy. They act only on instructions from Vox Luminis and take the necessary measures to adequately protect personal information.

Under the GDPR, you also have the right to have this personal data amended if it is incorrect or incomplete. Among other things, we use firewalls, ensure that all information and files are stored on a secure terminal and protect all passwords with encryption technology.
  1. The use of pseudonyms or logins and passwords or access codes is your responsibility as an end user. You undertake to keep them confidential. In the event of loss, theft or misuse of login information, we ask you to inform us immediately by e-mail with the subject line “Vox Luminis private access login”.

  1. Vox Luminis makes every effort to respect your privacy. Of course, there are always things that can be improved. We ask you to send us any comments and/or complaints using the contact information provided above.
